Dr. Thomas K.
Born in Burundi in 1969. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He worked as an agricultural doctor at P.I. Apolliakias of South Rhodes and then began his specialization in the Pediatric Clinic of Rhodes Hospital, which he continued and completed in Sweden where he obtained the title of specialty in pediatrics.
He continued his education with further sub-specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology at the Queen Sylvia University Pediatric Hospital in Gothenburg and worked as a curator in the Pediatric Diabetology, Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Obstetrics Department. In parallel with his clinical work, he participated in research programs as well as in the training of students and specialized doctors in the field of pediatric endocrinology and pediatric diabetes.
He is a full member of the Board of the Swedish Society of Pediatric Endocrinology (BarnEndokrinologiska Sällskapet), the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and the International Society for Adolescent and Adolescent Diabetes.
