Dr. Michael – Tsampikos K.

Michael Tsambikos K. was born in Rhodes in 1977. He studied Medicine at Ovidius University in Constanta, Romania. He worked as an agricultural doctor in the versatile clinic of Symi and then began his specialization in the Pediatric Clinic of Rhodes Hospital.

He continued his specialization in Sweden where he obtained a degree in Pediatrics and then worked as a pediatrician and commentator. He also worked as a physician in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg as Head of Vaccines and Infections, while also educating and supervising medical students in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology.

He worked and trained in the specialty of Child Psychiatry at the Child Psychiatric Clinic of the University Hospital Queen Sylvia where he received the title of specialist child psychiatrist, while completing the mandatory training in the basic principles of Cognitive-Behavioral.

As a child psychiatrist and pediatrician he worked in neurodevelopmental and child psychiatric clinics in the public and private sector. He is a member of the Swedish Society of Child Psychiatry and Pediatrics.

Certified in Bayley III and Athena Test.

The Clinic for Mental Health and Endocrinology of children and adolescents is staffed by child psychiatrist K. Michael-Tsambikos and pediatric endocrinologist K. Thomas.

The many years of training and work of the two doctors at the University Hospital of Gothenburg, Sweden, one of the largest scientific centers in northern Europe, contributed to the acquisition of extensive and valuable experience.

In combination with continuing scientific education and information, the clinical experience of the physicians is an irreplaceable and valuable weapon in dealing with a wide range of clinical cases in the fields of child psychiatry, developmental psychology and pediatric endocrinology.
